Gather & Grow is GROWING!

We’re seeking Licensed and Associate Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Clinical Counselors to help us expand our mission to uplift, honor, and celebrate the diverse identities and healing needs within our communities. As a member of Team GGOC, you are more than an employee. You are an integral part of our vision for Gather and Grow OC. We've spent considerable time and effort to create a team that we believe can grow together and bring positive energy to our community. We’re looking for candidates who align with this growth-based working (and learning) environment!

An ideal candidate will feel as invested in the 'Gather & Grow' name and community as we are. We hope that Gather and Grow OC is not just a place of work, but a place where you can also gather and grow personally. We envision this space to be a home base for your own individual practices. Here are some areas of investment that we hope align for potential team members.

At Gather & Grow OC, we believe in the importance of continual learning and professional development. We expect you to engage in ongoing education and specialization, particularly in areas that serve marginalized communities. This commitment not only enhances your own professional growth, but also strengthens our collective ability to provide comprehensive, competent, and compassionate care to our diverse client base.

At the heart of our practice is the belief in the healing power of relationships. We trust you will cultivate strong, therapeutic relationships with clients, and foster positive, collaborative relationships with your colleagues.

At Gather & Grow OC, we place great importance on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). As a member of our team, we expect you to foster an environment that values and respects diversity in all its forms. You should be committed to promoting equity in your interactions with colleagues and clients, and ensure that inclusivity is at the core of your practice. We believe that DEI isn’t just a one time idea but an ongoing practice.

We are proud to be a practice that affirms and supports the LGBTQ+ community. In your role, it is essential that you provide care that is sensitive, inclusive, and affirming to all individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

In order to effectively serve our diverse community, cultural competence is paramount. We expect you to continuously strive to understand and respect the cultural backgrounds and experiences of both your clients and colleagues. This includes an ongoing commitment to learning and growth in this area.

At Gather & Grow OC, we extend our services to individuals and groups engaged in non-traditional relationships, including but not limited to ethical non-monogamy and kink dynamics. We believe that all forms of consensual relationships deserve respect and understanding. In your role, we expect you to provide inclusive and affirming care to clients in these relationships, respecting their unique dynamics and needs.
