My role at Gather and Grow is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I am here to support you through your process of growth through psychotherapy.
I received my Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. My passion to become a psychotherapist grew from my experience working as a child welfare social worker. Through this experience, my drive to help people heal from childhood trauma propelled me into the direction of becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist. My work and interning experiences include working in addiction treatment centers and working with disenfranchised youth, with a focus on trauma, co-occurring disorders, and addiction.
My goal is to provide you with a safe, supportive space for self discovery and healing. My specialties include trauma, addiction, co-occurring disorders, codependency, anxiety, attachment, and self esteem issues. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing(EMDR) therapy, and am in the process getting certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I am a trauma informed and affirming therapist, and see my clients through a compassionate and nonjudgmental lens. I wholeheartedly believe in a person’s ability to heal and grow with support through therapy.
I am beyond excited to be a part of Gather and Grow because I believe in the ability to heal and grow from our experiences. Having a community of like minded people who are focused on helping others through their process provides me with a space to do what I love. I am passionate about what I do and look forward to working with you.
